1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using SheetLock ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
SheetLock is a private, offline-first spreadsheet application for Android. It allows you to create, edit, and manage spreadsheets with encryption-at-rest, PIN/biometric protection, and optional cloud backup.
3. Free Tier & SheetLock Pro
- Free Tier: The App is free to use with certain limitations (e.g., maximum number of workbooks, sheets per workbook, and rows/columns per sheet). Advertisements are displayed via Google AdMob.
- SheetLock Pro: A one-time in-app purchase that removes all free-tier limits and advertisements. The purchase is processed through Google Play and is subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies.
4. User Data & Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All spreadsheet data is stored locally on your device and encrypted. We do not transmit, access, or store your spreadsheet content on any server.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, code, design, and trademarks associated with SheetLock are the property of Nchitimilla. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App except as permitted by applicable law.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to circumvent security features, including PIN/biometric locks or encryption.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App beyond what is permitted by law.
- Redistribute or resell the App or any part of it.
7. Data Loss & Backups
While SheetLock includes auto-save and encrypted backup features, you are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We are not liable for data loss resulting from device failure, uninstallation, or any other cause.
8. Advertisements
Free-tier users will see advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Ad content is determined by Google and is subject to Google's advertising policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
9. In-App Purchases
SheetLock Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play. Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy. We do not have access to your payment information.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nchitimilla shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nchitimilla from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nchitimilla operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
